COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS AND SESSION OPTIONS
Character Care wanted to inform our clients and community about our policies regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. In line with Queensland Health, Federal and State
Government and the World Health Organization, Character Care is treating this matter with care and diligence for all involved. This is to provide you with options for upcoming sessions with Character Care. We can continue to provide support to our clients at our locations or remotely. Our therapists are available to provide both telephone and web sessions with our clients. If these options appeal to you, please contact us either via our landline or email so we can arrange your preferred means of communication. If you know of other family or friends who could use our remote support during this time, please let them know our details.
For sessions which continue at our locations (Paddington and Moorooka), clients who present with symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to seek medical attention and self-isolate
or quarantine and call in for therapeutic support. All staff members of Character Group (including contractors and student placements) are also advised to go into quarantine if
they present any symptoms of the virus. Further, the Federal Government has announced all those who have traveled to Australia from another country, must be quarantined for 14 days before engaging in the community. We ask all our clients, staff and community to adhere to this policy and inform Character Care staff if this has occurred.
We will be diligent in hygiene around the venues with constant checks on toilet facilities, doorknob cleaning, kitchenware, and accessible hand sanitizer available to all people entering our venues. Please contact us on 07 3189 7234 or email@example.com if you have any further questions.
